Väestöliitto is a Finnish organisation dedicated to promoting safe relationships, human rights and wellbeing. Through research, advocacy and free support services, they work to ensure that everyone has access to the knowledge and resources needed to build healthy and secure connections.
The publication “Seksuaalioikeudet” (Sexual Rights) provides an accessible overview of key sexual rights, including bodily autonomy, access to information and education, and the protection of sexual and reproductive health

CHALLENGE
Väestöliitto needed a refreshed visual design for its updated Sexual Rights publication, ensuring clarity and inclusivity.
APPROACH
Illustrations were created to represent the seven categories of sexual rights, focusing on diversity, inclusivity and an overall positive feel. The design followed Väestöliitto’s brand guidelines while modernizing the publication’s visual appeal.
OUTCOME
A visually engaging publication that has become one of Väestöliitto’s most popular releases. The new illustrations are also used beyond the publication, strengthening the organization’s visual identity.
